Made in Japan?

I bought some china made 090 they have the electronic and the 1 piece rod was going to give them a try and see how they run stock first. maybe work the kinks out

I have done a lot of testing with a Chinese 070 copy last year, it had the single peice rod ect, and the rest of the saw was fairly ordinary.
1st thing I did was add a 090 top and done the basic mods to help it along, yes the thing run ok but had issues right from the start.

Story short, it ended up with mostly Stihl 90 parts instead of the Chinese stuff and was still a pig to use, vibrated and had this habit of stripping threads.
I piped it in the end, run it a few times, but never bothered entering into any sort of race as I was never happy with it.

I liked that crank assembly it had and think that is about all I would use if I was serious about building a decent hot saw.
I would also listen to EHP, his advise on the 090 is spot on.
