Chainsaw Repair

I paid $3000 for a chainsaw once.  When I got done with it I got my money back too.
Matter of fact when I said I was going to sell it I had a line that day and could have sold 3 more.

Understood, but I'm not a collector so to me they are tools for collecting my firewood and fun projects to see what I can get out of them - neither would ever justify that expense to me.  Rather it is enjoyable for me to work on them because I can make something nice without making a large investment.

The only new saw that tempts me is a 545 - I really want an AutoTune saw as I am tired of these crap carbs that puke unburned fuel all the time.  It's just gross and wasteful. 

Not a collector either.  Only tools to me, expect when they were the racesaws.

New 545 shipped to my door PHO was $400 from spike.

For anyone remotely interested, the build is on over yonder on the Hawzs forum, making it sound like he's done plenty of this stuff, with the 090 top end,,, the local lads are giving him  the encouragement needed for him to actually do something, the mods even changed the name to a more suitable thread name.
Its all going to happen shortly but no vids sorry,     quote '' i don't want to ruin my reputation'' unquote.....
