Most guys by the oil pump material and make a new diaphragm. Todd made a bunch ge was selling few years ago.

Well I found a quad ring ( NOS) online . It definitely pumps manually better ,not what I was expecting but better than before. I replaced the impulse diaphragm a few years ago (OEM) ,and it pumped ok , but not what I thought was enough , was better than nothing.

What do you other poulan owners think about the counter vibe oil delivery. Was it always weak? Appreciate all input.

The hard part was getting the red plastic cap off the plunger section of the pump without breaking it.

Thanks for the reply. I also replaced the oil pickup line. The original was swollen at each end. Also soaked the pickup screen in gas. That helped alot. From what I saw in the plunger section, I think the right size o-ring might work in place of the quad ring. If I had another counter vibe I would give it a try. Later.
