Stripped top cover threads in crankcase.
Trying to figure a reasonable fix for crankcase holes stripped out that hold the cylinder cover on these.

3 out of 4 the oem bolt just slides in. 4th catches threads at very bottom.

Got 3 ideas to use from the CR group last night. Need to check into 2 of them.
Last 1 of 3 was what I am doing now. Little larger coarse bolts.
Want to use inserts of some kind like the other 2 were.

I think I would just try a helicoil.

Loctite 680 retaining compound or similar product should work.

I think I would just try a helicoil.

I was wondering about that too.  Plus using red loctite on whatever route I go.

Been busy ordering caipers, rotors, pads and fixing those right  now.

Yep that red loctite would hold a helicoil in place.
