Bye bye stihl tank vent. Hello echo tank vent. I like these better then stihl versions. 

Stihl 211 181 171 oil line fix by stihl.

For them leaking oil by the line grommet. Cut line and add 1124 122 3900

Anyone tried the way stihl has listed for the fix on the oil line?

Leak on these by cutting the line and adding the 1124 122 3900 nipple so dont pull at angle to leak.

I broke my golden rule and it cost me 2 days of pulling on this fing stihl.  Trying to get it to start easier cold start.  Pulling and pulling 10-12 times to pop and stihl wont go. But finally runs.  😉

Anyhow I always dump owners mix and use mine. This time I didnt. It smelled fine and past the glass jar check.  So put back in.

Finally I said enough. I have Truefuel 40:1, VPracing and 89 Efree and Poulan synthetic 89 Efree all 40:1 on hand.
So yesterday I put the Truefuel 40:1 in it and ran it till I would know it was in the carb.  Then put up for the night.

This morning I grab saw and choke and 2 pulls pop and 1 more home run. 

So it is related to their mix. Just so others know make sure your testing with fresh. Breaking my golden rule cost me time wasted.
