Chainsaw Repair

Hi

got a Mac 335 which has always worked well, but recently the oil pump seized, so I checked the whole oil system, from the bar oil tank, its breather hole, the pickup line to the oil pump, the oil pump, to the oil spreader to the oil plate. I also cleaned out the bar and oil ports.

Oil is flowing out the spreader, but somehow the oil plate is not spreading it, it just drips down on the ground? Im using 14/40W oil at the moment, but even when Ive used Canola oil, it would still spread on the chain, so i dont think it is the oil viscosity.

Im guessing the oil plate doesnt form a seal against the body anymore? Or the body is somehow worn weakening the seal it makes with the oil plate? Any ideas?
