Kevin I see the air filter cover on yours is yellow and on poge it is grey.   Is the yellow correct on your saw and is that something that changed with the year it was made.

Here is a 1990 PP415 full wrap I was offered in trade for the 2095. But I had already received paypal for the jred earlier that day or I would have traded.
**** but have the parts. 

Just so people that dont know. I wasnt talking about the different color of the 415 air filter cover as the change. It is how it is made inside for the updated air filters used in later 415 425 445 505.
It is how it is made to match the tanks also. Tanks are different for each air filter style.


Here is a 445 on left like the inside of my later 415 cover and a 475 like the earlier 415.   

Got a good laugh at work. Friend that cuts wood for heat.
Right now he runs a 272 and said he is going to buy a new stihl 391. I laughed at him and ask why he is going backwards to a plastic saw. I know it runs and cuts good as I take care of the smaller 311 saws here for guys.

But then he made the comment. Better then your poooouuloooon  . I laughed again and said bring it I will even run my smallest matching cc poulan the PP415.

Boy oh boy he just opened a can of whoop azz.
