I love it Kevin.   A 445 would be even better.

Well i started the 415 today and it runs ok but is having trouble idling, it will idle for 2 minutes and dies out. It will start back up but will not idle for long by itself. I have the idle set on the highest point, also the L screw does not seem to do much. Any thoughts?

Yup mine is early model, now please give me pointers to fine tune it. It will run and idle for about two minutes by itself. Starts right back up. Does the impulse line need check valves etc.

Have you replaced the fuel line and fuel filter.   I had a fuel filter do that one time to me and really faked me out.

Stock poulan 415 65cc trying to pull a 3/8 8T and aggressive chain I filed for a 3120 long ago.
Was hoping the pine cant would be forgiving with me pushing on it.  :P

I did rebuild the carb but may need to go back in and set the metering height to flush with top of metering deck. I set it to flush with carburetor top
