046/MS460 Filter base

I saw this filter base in my box of old parts. Anyone has seen this type before?
It has vents on the left side.
Part number is the same 1128 120 3404
But this one says 1128 120 3404 A
The regular one has 1128 120 3404 C

The top filter base on your pic is the newer filter base 1128 120 3404.
The bottom filter base (with holes on the side) on your pic is the previous one 1128 120 3406. (USA, CDN)

These filter bases were used on the MS 460 Arctic. (TI 32.2002) The 3406 base was replaced by the 3404 base. The new one has no side openings to prevent air filter icing.
They are also used on other model variants in the MS 460 family.

In 2005-2006 a few MS460 Magnums were imported from Brazil by Stihl India. I sold 2 of these Magnums.
The vented filter base came on them. Part of the saw's Magnum sticker is still intact.
So I was able to identify it.
