Guy helped me compare a Farmertec G255E easy start to a Stihl 250C easy start.

The farmertec 255/250 version of easy start, works like the 180 version and also looks like it too.

Comparing because the cost for oem parts for this easy start stuff is ridiculous.

Easy start 250 worked out for dad and his bad shoulder.

Least now he has a hair bigger saw then the easy start 180 I gave him years back.

3 pulls cold start without using purge bulb anytime been setting for weeks on end. Then fast idle usually 1 more running. 2 at most.

If only set 24hrs cold start 1 pull without using purge. Then 1 to start.

IMO no reason for a purge but whatever. Lot of saws doing it.

Left with him. 😎👍

Got a call from dad today.

Good feedback on the MS250C easy start. He was able to start it on his own and use it. 86 now with bad shoulder, bad hand and battled cancer few years ago.

He said took 3 pulls on cold to pop and then move to high idle and 2 more.

Said it starts easier to him then the cold start on the MS180 easy start I did for him years ago too. It prob getting time for a carb kit in it again with his corn fuel he uses there.

Least it was good news this time.
😃
