Sharpen it or have it sharpened before you put it in the right way, looks dull. Learn how to tune it, pull the caps and tune. I just got a CS370 off ebay for $61 like new, all it needed was tuning plus I muff modded it, nice saw.   steve

Often wondering about these. Comparable to the 3900, weight and cut?

I haven't run a 3900.  The 370 is kinda a lame duck as it weighs the same as the CS400 which cuts a lot faster.  I bought this one thinking it was burnt up and I have a brand new CS400 shortblock waiting for a saw, I pulled the muff off and was like brand new inside so just pulled the caps and tuned as it wouldn't even rev up, plus a muff modd.  I'll be selling it foraround $150 or so.    Steve

Atta-Boy Zach.

Take your time until you get used to the different saws.  Keep your chain sharp too.  If you need help sharpening the cutters or lowering the depth gauges, just ask.
