5000 plus

Well I've been working on my 5000 plus the last few days trying to keep it running. I put on my husky 55 carb, fixed the tank vent it was clogged up, got it to run and idle. I made a few cut and it started to lose power down to nothing in the cut, once you pulled it out of the cut it would rev up and idle fine.I know the carb is good, thinking it could be the coil, compression is good. I'm about ready to change out the coil, any thoughts?. Thanks.

I know you say carb is good to go. But I had a 3750 poulan with HDA do this exact thing. Ended up needing new diaphragm.

 Would idle, rev without being in wood but would lose power and almost die in cut. Turned out to be running out of fuel on mine and carb kit fixed it.
