Yeah I hate those old outdated saws  ::). Matter of fact I am sending I mean throwing away a jred 490 away tomorrow too.  Just didnt need another one, but when I seen it I had 2nd thoughts of passing it onto another member here.  But it is all good it would have just set on the shelf.

That saw sounds good................................ ;D

Some day I will put a 5000 cyl on it. It only has a 500 on it now.  :'(

I still think my strongest 5000 was the 1979 one ( before the plus 5000's ) with a blue coil and open port cyl. I did have one later 5000 plus closed port that was as strong too, but didnt own them at the same time to run back to back to see. The pluses  I owned same time as the non plus was no match for it.
