do you have the whole saw (cs4000), or just the cylinder?, i don't see why the 4000 topend couldn't be used on a 4500/4600 unless the mounting holes are different....

Just a cylinder. Was going to use it on the 450 back when but it had the cracks in the bar mount area. Common issue with these series.

Looks like I'll be getting the 5000 parts saw in the near future, may play around with it and see if the cylinder will indeed fit the 4500/4600.........also want to see if the later one piece ignition unit will fit in the older two piece ignition saws, the one I got from Andy already crapped out  >:(, so I'll be on the look out for one if the one piece won't fit..... ???.
