Chainsaw Repair

That pot licker is a runner,I'll testify to that fact .It just would not suck fuel yesterday .

My suspisions are stiff check valves .Now I've ran them dry,left fuel in them found really no difference .That damned ethanol just stiffens the innards up .

The last few carb kits I got it looked like the checks were made of a material more robust to the effects of ethanol .The earlier versions used what appeared to be buna N which is not as robust .BTW ,Stihl crankshaft seals are a tad different also than earlier versions .

I wish they would use that corn to fatten cattle and make whiskey instead of sticking the stuff in the gasoline tank .Might as well chit in one hand and wish in the other .Good grief !
