Ok here is a T-post puller I just finished up yesterday and pulled a post with it today.
All can say is I would have had a heck of time pulling out that post with out it.   Works great.

Yep best trade I ever made. Some guy on racesaws made mine for a 029 or super parts saw.

Made my life so much easier every spring.

I had one of those out side freeze proof hydrants that was no longer connected and down into the ground about 5 feet.   I clamped a good pair of vice grips to it and lifted it out with the bumper jack t-post puller I made.   It had been in the ground for about ten years.    I am going to re- purpose the pipe into another peavy.   My last one worked real good on big logs but would not fit the small ones very good.

That sounds even more red neck than my bumper jack.  How did you attach the chain.

The 1/4" chain had the narrow link hooks on the ends.

I made a few wraps around the post to take up the slack with a "C" clamp above the chain.

I had to put a board under the front wheels of the jack
