Did you measure the bore? Is it the 505 82cc and did you find the right ring for replacement.

the bore measured 54mm and the ring should be in monday or tuesday. 8) the 475 is 52mm.correct?

i did a light port job on the cylinder tonight. both ports seemed real wide. about 2mm from piston witness lines so i left the sides alone. raised the roof in the exhaust a little. lowered the intake a little.cleaned out casting flaws in piston windows. replaced gasket with threebond 1194. put the cylinder back on. did a compression test got 150 psi. ;D ;D ;D.  i'll finish tomorrow i hope.

well the coil is green! :'( finished putting it together. i couldn't stand it. i had to see how it runs. seems to run good. nice throttle response. idles ok too. ;D
